On Chicago Program
Last Monday night (the 15th) she appeared at the State and Lake theatre in Chicago, where amateurs of outstanding ability are featured, and her performance so well pleased her audience that she was called back for several encore numbers.
The following day (the 16th) she sang over radio station WGN on the Phillips hour, and later appeared on the dinner hour program of the Continental Room of the Stevens hotel, where she has been given a suite during her stay in Chicago.
To Go to New York
She will leave Chicago Saturday (the 20th) for New York City, where she will appear within the next few weeks on the Major Bowes Amateur Radio hour.
Dorla Jeanne received her start on the road to success when she appeared some three or four weeks ago in Oklahoma City at the benefit for the Criterion Milk and Ice fund show.

During her six-weeks stay in New York City she will be given a thorough course in blues singing and dancing.
