Darla Hood, juvenile screen star, and sweetheart of "Our Gang" comedies, will make a personal appearance at the Kozy Theatre Tuesday evening, August 1.

She will arrive in Granite Tuesday morning for the two-day visit with her uncle, Melville Danner and Mrs. Danner, owners of the local theatre.

Darla arrived in Sayre Monday (July 24th) from Hollywood, California, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hood, where they will visit Mrs. Hood's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Danner and Mr. Hood's mother, Mrs. Nora Hood at Erick.

The juvenile actor will only make two personal appearances while in this section. She will appear at Granite and later at Sayre. The Hood family will also visit relatives at Oklahoma City.

Mr. and Mrs. Danner of the Kozy Theatre are making an effort to secure one of the "Our Gang" pictures, the night the star appears here. She will present to the audience 300 autographed pictures. Darla is also scheduled to present a song and dance routine.

Darla is a beautiful child, eight years of age. She has long been a favorite of theatre audiences. Her charm, simplicity and frankness, wins the heart of the people.

Appearance of Darla Hood will be a treat for the audience at the local theatre and especially for the children of this section to have an opportunity to see and hear a movie star.
