Patsy May, 5-year-old veteran of the screen, and a star of Our Gang comedies, Friday (the 10th) was the guest of Glenna Lou McCandless, 4, at kindergarten classes at Pasadena school. A party was given in her honor by her hostess, following classes at the school.

Patsy has been visiting in Dayton since Oct. 27, and is leaving here Tuesday (the 14th) to visit in Gosport, Ind., which is her birthplace. She came to Dayton with her grandmother, Mrs. Clara May, who adopted the child movie star when she was but 9 days old because of the death of her mother, and both are staying with Patsy's great-grandfather, Jesse Collins of Wilmington pike, near Beavertown, who is the father of Mrs. May.

Apart from her talents as a movie star, she is not unlike other little girls of her age and when photographed Friday morning she blinked when the flashlight of The Daily News camera man discharged. She was having fun doing crayon work with the other children in the class and when asked how many other boys and girls were in Our Gang she counted them on her fingers, saying there were six.

Patsy is through now with Our Gang pictures, according to her grandmother, and is seeking a contract for feature pictures. Her last appearance in pictures was with Bing Crosby in "The Star Maker." Before leaving for Dayton from their Beverly Hills home, Mrs. May said they had received several offers which have been placed in the hands of Patsy's agent for consideration and she is expected to start work again in the near future. She made her first appearance in pictures at the age of six months and has been steadily employed since that time. She has also made numerous stage appearances and has been heard on the radio.
