Doris "Patsy" May, teen-age "queen for a day," and Marjorie Holt, rodeo queen, were presented to a crowd of 1,000 persons at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (the 23rd), following a concert by the Twin Falls municipal band at the intersection of Shoshone street and Main avenue.
After presenting the queens and their attendants, Helen Greenhaigh and June Geer, Master of Ceremonies Claude Detweller introduced Rodeo Producer Alice Greenough, and some of the performers from her show.
Miss May said she was having a wonderful time, the western outfit which had been given her was gorgeous, and now she certainly had something to tell the kids back in North Hollywood.
Her grandmother, Mrs. Clara E. May, said she liked the fine Idado weather, but the whole thing still seemed like a dream. "The people here have been very nice to us. They made us feel right at home," she added.
The young queen and her grandmother, who are courtesy guests of the Rogerson hotel received an ovation when they were introduced.
